Based on our experience in the sector, we always recommend that newlyweds consider a service with a driver available starting 2-3 hours before the end of the event, in case there are guests who wish to leave early, without having to wait for the end of the celebrations. This scenario frequently occurs when there are families with small children or elderly couples. In this case, having a driver available and ready to take guests back to their hotel is a highly recommended service.

Type of vehicles used for guest transportation

For our guest transportation service we have 8-passenger minivans (excluding the driver), 16-seater minibuses and 54-seater buses available. The choice of vehicles to use depends not only on the number of guests but also on their needs.

For example, if there are many guests and all or most of them are staying in the same hotel or in the same area, the bus is the best choice.

If the guests are few and located in various points more or less distant from each other, in this case the minivans or minibuses are the ideal choice.

In any case, the choice of the types of vehicles to use is made together with the spouses or the wedding planner, based on the needs of the event as well as the guests.

Service costs

Based on the premises described above, the variables that come into play when organizing a wedding, and in particular, a guest transport service, are many.

To get a quote for the service we offer, the first step is to quantify the number of guests. From this first data, we agree with the spouses how many vehicles will be involved in the event and the type of vehicles used (minivan, minibus, bus).

Finally, we analyze the distances between the various trips. It is not uncommon for guests to stay in different structures or farmhouses located in the various municipalities surrounding the event location. The price therefore varies depending on the distance and time required to reach the wedding location from each hotel structure where guests are staying and vice versa.

Example:

Assuming a wedding with 50 guests in Savelletri, our prices start at 800 euros + VAT for a basic service with a 54-seater bus.

Last but not least, we recommend that newlyweds consider an “extra” service with a driver available starting 2-3 hours before the end of the event for guests who wish to leave early and be taken back to their hotel.

When to book

Booking well in advance is strongly recommended for weddings with many guests (more than 100 people), as several vehicles will need to be booked. We usually proceed to prepare estimates approximately starting a year before the event.

After that, approximately 2-3 months before the event, we book the vehicles that will be used, after checking the actual number of guests.

For small-medium sized events, we recommend booking 2-3 months in advance.

In any case, last minute bookings are not uncommon. Subject to availability of vehicles and drivers, we are open to the possibility of accepting reservations even a few days before the event.
